BSB Finale at Oulton Park
After a disastrous mistake in tyre choice in first qualifying, Connor upped the pace and was 3rd quickest in the second session, giving him another front row position at his local circuit Oulton Park. Battling throughout the race, but with a clear lack of power, Connor sat in 5th place for the majority of the race only to be passed by Danny Kent on lap 10. Having to settle for 6th was not ideal, but gave Connor his final points in this years BSB 125GP Series and he finishes in 7th place. It has been an eventful season, with 5 DNF’s, 3 podiums, his first pole position at Silverstone and his first ever BSB win at Croft, Connor is now looking towards 2010 and his hope to move up to 600 Superstock. With one last race, again at Oulton Park this coming weekend with the Wirral 100, he needs to win the race to secure the Championship.
